Shaz Malik est une poétesse, romancière, nouvelliste, chroniqueuse, parolière et scénariste dramatique d’origine pakistanaise basée en France depuis 27 ans.
Elle est l’auteur de quatorze livres, dont sept recueils de poésie, quatre romans et deux recueils de nouvelles.
Son roman Malkani est la première œuvre d’un écrivain asiatique en Europe à être adaptée en drame par la télévision nationale pakistanaise. Elle est également la fondatrice et présidente du Forum international des écrivains France–Pak, qui organise des événements littéraires, des séminaires et des mushairas à travers l’Europe. Sa poésie et sa fiction sont largement lues, et ses œuvres figurent dans les thèses de licence et de master en littérature des grandes universités pakistanaises. Shaz Malik a reçu de nombreux prix littéraires nationaux et internationaux pour la poésie, la fiction et la contribution globale à la littérature. Beaucoup de ses ghazals et chansons ont été chantés par des chanteurs renommés du Pakistan, de l’Inde et de Dubaï. Ses chansons patriotiques ont été diffusées sur la télévision pakistanaise, dont une a figuré dans le Top 5. Shaz Malik is a Pakistani-born poet, novelist, short-story writer, columnist, lyricist, and drama scriptwriter based in France for the past 27 years.
She is the author of fourteen books, including seven poetry collections, four novels, and two short-story collections.
Her novel Malkani is the first work by an Asian writer in Europe to be adapted into a drama by Pakistan National Television.
She is also the founder and president of the France–Pak International Writers Forum, which organizes literary events, seminars, and mushairas across Europe. Her poetry and fiction are widely read, and her works are included in BS and MPhil theses in major Pakistani universities. Shaz Malik has received numerous national and international literary awards for poetry, fiction, and overall contribution to literature. Many of her ghazals and songs have been sung by renowned singers from Pakistan, India, and Dubai. Her patriotic songs have been broadcast on Pakistan Television, including one featured in the Top 5.
As a writer, she continues to work on new novels, dramatic scripts, and literary projects under her own production house, Shaz Productions.
It is not challenging; I am capable of pruning the tree of my ego.
